演讲人简介：Professor James Buzard got his Ph.D. from Columbia University in 1990. He was Head of Literature Faculty at MIT from 2005 to 2013. His books mainly includeVictorian Prism: Refractions of the Crystal Palace(2007, Coedited with Joseph Childers and Eileen Gillooly),Disorienting Fiction: The Autoethnographic Work of 19th-Century British Novels(2005), andThe Beaten Track: European Tourism, Literature, and the Ways to “Culture,” 1800-1918(1993).
