讲座人介绍：Gerhard Budin is full professor for terminology studies and translation technologies at the Centre of Translation Studies at the University of Vienna. He is director of the Institute for Corpus Linguistics and Text Technology at the Austrian Academy of Sciences and a member of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. He is also Chair holder of the UNESCO Chair for Multilingual, Transcultural Communication in the Digital Age. He holds a PhD in linguistics and a Master's degree in translation studies. His research interests include cross-cultural knowledge communication and knowledge organization, language engineering, translation technologies, and knowledge engineering, epistemology of eLearning and of collaborative work systems, terminology studies, ontology engineering, Eco-Informatics, translation theory, and philosophy of science.
