演讲者简介：Fusheng Wu is professor of Chinese Literature and Comparative Literary and Cultural Studies at Department of Languages and Literature, University of Utah, and guest professor at Nankai University and Sichuan University. He Received his Ph.D. in comparative literature from Brown University in 1995. He is the author of four books: The Poetics of Decadence: Chinese Poetry of Southern Dynasties and Late Tang Period (SUNY Press, 1998), Written at Imperial Command: Panegyric Poetry in Early Medieval China (SUNY Press, 2008), 《汉诗英译研究：理雅各、翟里斯、韦利、庞德》(A Study on English Translations of Chinese Poetry: James Legge, Herbert Giles, Arthur Waley, and Ezra Pound, 北京：学苑出版社，2012), and 《英语世界中的陶渊明研究》(Tao Yuanming Studies in English Speaking World, forthcoming from 学苑出版社，2013). He is the co-translator of The Poems of Ruan Ji (Beijing: Zhonghua Shuju), and The Poems of Cao Zhi (Beijing: Shangwu yishuguan, forthcoming in 2013). He has published more than twenty articles on Chinese literature and comparative literature in the United States, China, and Europe.
