演讲人简介：查尔斯•艾尔提瑞（Charles Altieri）博士，现任美国加利福利亚大学伯克利校区英文系教授、加州大学伯克莱分校艺术协会主任，是美国艺术与科学学院院士、美国古根海姆研究基金学者、当代著名英美诗歌评论家，主攻20世纪美国诗学，发表论文一百余篇，出版专著十余部，主要包括：The Art of Modern American Poetry(Blackwells, 2005),The Particular of Rapture: An Aesthetics of the Affects(Cornell University Press, 2003),Postmodernism Now: Essays on Contemporaneity in the Arts(Penn State University Press, 1998),Painterly Abstraction in Modernist American Poetry: The Contemporaneity of Modernism(Cambridge, 1989),Self and Sensibility in Contemporary American Poetry(Cambridge, 1984), etc. He is now on the Editorial Board of MLQ and Contemporary Literature, and the Advisory Board of Epoche and Comparative Literature Studies.
